I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania and Board-Certified Dance/Movement Therapist. I received my Master’s degree in Dance/Movement Therapy from Drexel University.

I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and families of individuals on the Autism spectrum, as well as with clients with ADHD, intellectual disability, trauma histories, and other presenting behavioral challenges. I have worked with individuals of all ages and backgrounds seeking support on a variety of other clinical issues, as well, including anxiety, self-esteem and identity, self-care, anger management, emotional support, stress management, social skills and relationship-building, and support with life transitions.

When working with children and adolescent clients, I begin by learning as much information as possible about the presenting issue across a variety of settings (e.g. school, home, in the community) and work together with caregivers to support the client by creating strategies and an individualized treatment approach that will be able to be successfully implemented across each environment.

When working with adult clients, I offer a supportive environment in which individuals can gain insight, achieve greater self-awareness, and identify obstacles to their own happiness and well-being.

My eclectic and creative approach to the therapeutic process allows for an individualized treatment planning process based on the strengths, challenges, and interests of each client. In my work, I draw from a systems-based approach, mindfulness-based techniques, cognitive-behavioral therapy, relationship-based therapies such as person-centered therapy, and dance/movement therapy (in which a focus is placed on the body-mind connection and the role of the body as a key informant in supporting clients’ emotional awareness).
