Mindfulness Skills for Stress Relief & Wellbeing

A 6-week live online course to cultivate calm, and steady the mind through mindfulness meditation & relaxation techniques. By learning the art of mindfulness meditation and developing a daily practice, participants will experience lower stress levels, improved mental clarity, and enhanced self-awareness.

  • Dates: Saturday mornings: May 2 – June 6

  • Other: In order to receive the fullest benefits of mindfulness, participants are strongly encouraged to attend all sessions and complete meditation/relaxation practices at home on a daily basis throughout the 6-week course.

Robin Reese, MA, LPC, NCC is a committed meditation practitioner with over 30 days worth of intensive, silent retreat practice at the Insight Meditation Society, Spirit Rock, and the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies. She recently completed the Practicum in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) training at the Myrna Brind Center for Mindfulness and has been practicing psychotherapy since 2012 after graduating from The George Washington University.

Coping with COVID Anxiety

This weekly group will meet by video to provide a warm and welcoming space to process the fears that many people are confronting as we all navigate the current state of the world. By the end of the workshop, participants will also be equipped with practical resources and coping tools to proactively and compassionately manage daily worry about the pandemic.

Jason Kraman LSW, who will be facilitating this group, is a Licensed Social Worker with training in cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness based stress reduction. Jason has worked in a variety of treatment settings including outpatient mental health, substance use intensive outpatient, and residential treatment facilities.

Struggling with Loneliness and Disconnection

Are you feeling isolated? Are you yearning to connect? If so, you’re not alone! So many of us are struggling, and we deserve a space to talk about it. This weekly group could be that space for you. Anyone 21 and older is welcome to join. We plan to explore emotions surrounding our new social distancing lifestyles through various verbal and creative outlets of expression. It is hoped that every participant will leave feeling a little less lonely and more connected.

Demi Leleux, MA is an Art Therapist who views the therapy space as a sanctuary, an open space to safely uncover and explore anything that may be going on in life. She integrates knowledge and interventions from developmental, cognitive-behavioral, and creative modalities to facilitate growth. She has worked with individuals of all ages in a variety of clinical settings during and following her graduate training at Drexel University.
