Hilary Katz, MSW, LCSW
I am a firm believer in the philosophy that we are what we think. Our quality of life is very much reflective of how we choose to respond to events big or small daily in our lives. While I certainly provide supportive therapy, I also strive to empower my clients to gain a better understanding of just how much control they truly have over how they feel every day. Through the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, learning how we experience thoughts or feelings that may reinforce or compound faulty beliefs, my goal with clients is to ultimately help develop coping strategies that can help both in the present and future and foster overall resilience.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I have been providing individual, couples, family, and group therapy for over 15 years. I have a great respect for a client’s courage to reach out and ask for help as well as have the desire to be introspective and gain understanding of thoughts and feelings. My hope is that I can empower my client to ultimately achieve a better quality of life and have the confidence to know he/she can face any obstacle that will come their way.
