I am a clinical psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages, races, ethnicities, and sexual orientations. I approach each person in treatment as a unique, dynamic individual whose needs and goals may transform as the therapy progresses toward creating lasting change. I understand that the decision to seek out and enter therapy can be difficult, and I feel that a strong therapeutic relationship is vital in creating a trusting and comfortable environment.
I am a licensed psychologist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New York and am a member of the American Psychological Association and the Philadelphia Society of Clinical Psychologists. I earned my undergraduate degree from Boston University and my Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D.) from The George Washington University. I have worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, schools, community mental health centers, and private practice. My graduate degree includes specific training in child psychology, and I also have expertise in working with children with developmental delays/disorders. In addition, I have training and expertise in performing evaluations for those individuals choosing to undergo gastric bypass or lap band surgery. At Equilibria, I conduct individual, play, and family psychotherapy, as well as perform psychological, psychoeducational and gastric bypass/lap band surgery evaluations.
